Strategy & Framework

Strengthening Commitments

Our Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Leadership team are committed to supporting our sustainability strategy through active engagement and governance to achieve our goals.

We have defined governance structures to ensure responsible development, transparent disclosures, performance stewardship of sustainability matters – including ethical conduct, human rights, environment, diversity, equity and inclusion – and priorities embedded within our leadership policies.

Policies

Guiding Our Practices

Our policies help guide our people to make decisions that reflect our values and support our strategies. Our social, environmental and business practices are governed by these policies, with training for employees to ensure compliance and reporting to measure our performance.

Management Systems

Codifying our Values

West Fraser has adopted policies including our Supply Chain and Human Rights Policy, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy; and Supplier Code of Conduct.

These policies reflect and codify our values and commitment to business ethics and human rights in our own organization and set out our expectations for business partners in our value chain.
